Our postal repair service gives customers who cannot visit the workshop a simple way to have their jewellery assessed and repaired.
Please do not post anything to us until we have replied with your reference and posting instructions.
A Simple Process
How Postal Repairs Work
1. Tell Us About Your Repair
Complete our online repair form and upload photographs of your jewellery.
2. Receive Posting Instructions
We provide the information you need to send your jewellery to our workshop.
3. We Receive & Inspect It
Your jewellery is recorded and inspected by the workshop.
4. Approve Your Repair
We confirm the repair required and the price before proceeding.
5. We Repair Your Jewellery
Once authorised, your jewellery goes into the workshop.
6. Your Jewellery Is Returned
When the repair is complete, your jewellery is prepared for return using the agreed delivery method.
Sending by post
Your postal form
When we have replied with your repair reference and posting instructions, print our postal form, write the reference on it and send it with your jewellery.
- 1. Contact us before you post. Call 01753 536800 or use the online form for your service, and we give you a reference and confirm the postal service and insurance to use.
- 2. Take photos of all items before sending: every piece, front and back, with any hallmarks. Keep the photos until the service is finished.
- 3. Print our postal form, fill in one line per item, sign it and put it in the parcel. Keep a copy for yourself.
- 4. Pack each piece securely in a small, sturdy box, and never write gold or jewellery on the outside of the parcel.
- 5. All parcels are opened under video recording. We check what arrives against your form and contact you before anything else happens.

Yes. Complete our postal repair form first and we will provide the appropriate instructions.

Yes. After you submit, you will receive a repair reference to track progress on the Track My Repair page.
Can you quote from a photograph?
Photographs can help us understand the repair, but some jewellery needs to be physically inspected before the work and final price can be confirmed.
What happens before you start work?
The jewellery is assessed and the repair is confirmed before authorised work proceeds.
When should I post my jewellery?
