Free Initial Quotations
There is no charge for our initial repair quotation. You can bring the jewellery into the shop, send suitable photographs through WhatsApp or live chat, or use our dedicated Submit a Repair option.
Quotations are free and no work begins until you approve the price in writing.
How Repair Prices Are Worked Out
A photograph can help us give initial guidance, but some repairs cannot be priced accurately until the item is physically inspected. Hidden cracks, previous solder, hollow construction, stone condition or worn settings can change the work required.
Some items need more than one process. For example, a worn ring may require claw work, stone checking, polishing and rhodium plating rather than a single repair.
Where additional significant work is required, Gold Factory will normally seek approval before materially increasing the agreed charge.
Ring Resizing
Many rings can be resized, but not every design can. We confirm feasibility and cost after assessment. We do not advertise a universal free first resize because the work required varies considerably.
