Polishing, Cleaning and Bringing Old Jewellery Back to Life
We provide paid professional cleaning and polishing services and also sell jewellery cleaning products in-store and online. Polishing removes a very small amount of surface metal, so aggressive or unnecessary repeated polishing is not always appropriate, especially on fine engraving, antique details or already-thin jewellery. We assess the piece before recommending the finish.

When the repair is complete, your jewellery is prepared for return using the agreed delivery method.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you make old jewellery look new again?
Often yes. Cleaning, polishing, plating, repair, stone work and restoration can significantly improve the appearance, depending on the condition and design.
Can you quote from a photograph?
Photographs can help us understand the repair, but some jewellery needs to be physically inspected before the work and final price can be confirmed.
Do you polish jewellery?
Yes. Gold Factory offers a paid polishing service to restore the appearance of old or worn jewellery.
Do you repair watches?
No. We specialise in jewellery repairs and do not repair watches.
Do you sell jewellery-cleaning solutions?
Yes, in store and online, subject to stock.
What happens before you start work?
The jewellery is assessed and the repair is confirmed before authorised work proceeds.
