How it works
1. Check our buying prices or use the calculator for an estimate.
2. Do not know the carat or the weight? No problem. Post your items to us or pop into our Gold Factory shop and we will assess them.
3. Decide whether you want to sell outright or take a Gold Loan. You can change your mind later without entering your items again.
4. Fill in the form below and print it. It lists what you are sending and how to reach you.
5. Send the parcel to Gold Factory, 294 Farnham Road, Slough, SL1 4XL.
6. We confirm when it arrives.
7. We assess what we have actually received.
8. Payment is made within 24 hours of Gold Factory receiving the jewellery. Jewellery received on a Saturday is paid on Monday.
Please contact us before posting so we can confirm the postal service to use, the insurance cover, who pays the postage and what identification we need. We will tell you all of that before you send anything.
Our valuation fee is £35.00 plus 1% of the total valuation. We assess the jewellery first, then send you a payment link. Return postage is charged separately.

Prefer to fill it in by hand?
Print our postal form instead and put it in the parcel with your items. Please still contact us before posting.
- 1. Contact us before you post. Call 01753 536800 or use the online form for your service, and we give you a reference and confirm the postal service and insurance to use.
- 2. Take photos of all items before sending: every piece, front and back, with any hallmarks. Keep the photos until the service is finished.
- 3. Print our postal form, fill in one line per item, sign it and put it in the parcel. Keep a copy for yourself.
- 4. Pack each piece securely in a small, sturdy box, and never write gold or jewellery on the outside of the parcel.
- 5. All parcels are opened under video recording. We check what arrives against your form and contact you before anything else happens.
