How Much Is 22ct Gold Worth?

22ct gold is 91.6% gold, marked 916. It is the standard for most Indian and Asian jewellery and it holds more gold than any other carat in common use apart from 24ct.

Multiply the gold price per gram by 0.916 and then by the weight. A 22ct bangle of any size is usually worth considerably more than a similar looking 9ct one.

Because 22ct is softer, pieces often show wear. Wear does not reduce the gold content.
