Bespoke (custom made) jewellery
Bespoke Jewellery FAQ
The questions we are asked most about bespoke jewellery. If yours is not here, ask us.
Can I choose natural or lab-grown diamonds?
Yes. We sell both and can help you understand the differences.
Can the final weight differ from the estimate?
Yes. Made-to-order jewellery has an approximate ±5% manufacturing tolerance, with the price adjusted according to the final chargeable weight.
Can you make jewellery from a photograph or sketch?
Yes. We can use photographs, drawings and ideas as a starting point, subject to technical feasibility and intellectual-property considerations.
Can you use my old gold?
Sometimes, yes. We will explain the purity and hallmarking implications before agreeing the manufacturing route.
How long does bespoke jewellery take?
It depends on the design and complexity. We give an estimated lead time for each order rather than promising one universal timeframe.
How much deposit do you take for bespoke jewellery?
A minimum 50% deposit is normally required once the order is confirmed and before CAD/design work begins.
Will I see a CAD before you make it?
Where CAD is part of the project, yes. CAD work begins after the order is confirmed and the required deposit has been paid.
